Supporting Your Transition to Parenthood

Hello almost new parents or brand new parents!

Regardless of whether you're preparing for your first baby or expanding your family again, I am here to provide dedicated support during your postpartum period. I am here to hold babies (or teach you how to!), assist you in new parenthood, help with light housework, and give you a hug or just space to nap! There are multitudes on your plate and I am here to make space for you.

I embrace and celebrate the diversity of all families, acknowledging the multitude of paths that lead to parenthood. My mission is to offer unwavering guidance and assistance tailored to your unique needs and circumstances. With a commitment to inclusivity and respect for all family structures, I strive to create a nurturing postpartum environment where your family is centered and valued each step of the way.

You can find the support and care you deserve with Intimate Connections during this important time. Let's embark on this journey together with compassion and understanding.

Intimate Connections Doula

Why hire a postpartum doula?

Hiring a postpartum doula can provide invaluable support and guidance during the challenging transition into parenthood. Unlike family and friends, postpartum doulas are trained professionals who specialize in providing physical, emotional, and informational assistance to new parents.

Doulas offer non-judgmental support tailored to the unique needs of each family, helping them navigate the complexities of early parenthood with confidence and ease. Whether it's assisting with newborn care, providing breastfeeding support, or offering practical tips for soothing a fussy baby, postpartum doulas offer personalized care that empowers parents and promotes their well-being.

Postpartum doulas play a crucial role in promoting maternal mental health and overall family well-being. By offering emotional support and a compassionate presence, they create a nurturing environment where new parents feel validated, heard, and supported.

This can be especially beneficial for individuals experiencing postpartum depression or anxiety, as doulas provide a valuable source of encouragement and assistance in navigating these challenges. Additionally, postpartum doulas can help ease the burden of household chores and errands, allowing parents to focus on bonding with their newborn and adjusting to their new roles as caregivers.

We are here to help support your postpartum experience, fostering confidence, resilience, and well-being for the entire family.
